She wanted her heart to pour on out and dance with the skeleton of her soul,

‘human’ often felt brutal.
She had longed to spread her wings of light,
which creaked behind her human coat,
an angel waiting to be freed.
But what she hadn’t realised yet,
her skin was not her prison,
the pain she felt left scars no doubt and scars lent her eternal wisdom.
