Burlesque girls

This painting questions duality. Two Burlesque girls glance at each other over their shoulder, one holds her whip and the other is semi naked wearing only the feathers from her flamboyant head dress. They both have a nipple ring in the right nipple, they could be a couple as they sensitively reach towards each other or supportive friends, the viewer can decide. The red of the theatre curtain to the left of the painting balances the composition. Women supporting women.
